Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Jonny Bairstow are among the 20 players added to Abu Dhabi Knight Riders squad for UAE’s International League T20 (ILT20) 2023. Along with West Indies’ best spinner Akeal Hosein, fast bowler Ravi Rampaul and Sri Lanka batter Charith Asalanka will play for the ADKR franchise in the UAE T20 League 2023.
The UAE local players “Matiullah Khan, Fahad Nawaz, Sabir Ali, and Zawar Farid are also added to the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders squad. The young players are excited to play with global star cricketers and learn from them.
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Franchise Squad for Inaugural Season of UAE ILT20 2023
Kolkata Knight Riders owners own Abu Dhabi Knight Riders team. They are very interested and look forward to the inaugural tournament ILT20, which will start on 13th January 2023.
On Tuesday, ADKR also announced their popular overseas players, including Sri Lanka allrounder Seekuge Prasanna, fast bowler Lahiru Kumara, Paul Stirling of Ireland, and South African batter Colin Ingram. And recently, they completed the 20 players, including the 4 UAE local players, for the first edition of ILT20 2023.
The captain of ADKR Sunil Narine and Andre Russell are already part of the KKR team in the IPL and are now signed up for the Abudhabi Knight Riders franchise as well for the first season of the tournament.
