The multinational logistics company, DP World, is announced as the title sponsor of the International League T20 (ILT20). This sponsorship comes under an agreement of five years. The DP World company began in 2005 after Dubai Ports Authority merged with Dubai Ports International. The organization now offers its supply chain solutions throughout the globe. It is headquartered in Dubai but operates in 78 countries on six continents. The company has over 97,000 employees, making trade flow easier worldwide.
DP World Becomes Title Sponsor of ILT20 for 5 Years
Hence, it is no wonder why a name as big as DP world is the lead sponsor of UAE ILT20. The league features some of the most well-known franchises and players. With this announcement, the tournament has changed its name to DP World International League T20.
ILT20 posted on its Twitter account, “Delighted to welcome DP World as our title sponsor for 5 years.” Khalid Al Zarooni, the Chairman International League T20, also commented on this announcement. He stated,
