MIE vs DTV Post-Match Analysis and Highlights

On a good batting track, MIE decided to change their opening pair, and it proved to be the right decision as Waseem and Windies star Fletcher opened the innings for Emirates and set the tone from the first bowl. Both openers played their strokes and helped the team score 68 in the powerplay. After the powerplay, fletcher also picked the pace with Waseem and made 142 runs in 1st wicket partnership.

After the first wicket, 2nd wicket fell down quickly and was a threat to restrict MIE to a low score. But later, power hitting by Pollard and Mously helped MI Emirates reach the highest total of 241 of the ILT20 so far. It was a nightmare for Vipers bowlers. Fletcher, Wseem, Pollard, and Mously scored 50, 86, 50, and 31, respectively.

Despite chasing a huge target of 242 Desert Vipers, batters failed to score easily and lost their way in the powerplay after losing six wickets.
