MIE vs DTV – Highlights and post-match analysis While batting first, MIE struggled in the start and lost both openers for just 10 runs in the first 3 overs of the powerplay. Sheldon Cotrell and Atinkson bowled a good spell at the start. After an early struggle, Fletcher and Nicholas Pooran built 43 runs partnership, keeping the run rate in order. Fletcher was looking in good touch but unfortunately got a runout.
Then MIE captain Kieron came to bat and continued his last match in good form. He scored 67 on 39 balls, while Nicholas Pooran scored 57 on 49. From the bowling side, Sheldon Cotrell was the most economical as he gave away only 20 runs in 4 overs and took 1 wicket. Courtesy of good performance from Pollard and Pooran, MIE scored 169 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
In the 2nd innings, DTV Rohan Mustafa and Alex Hales came for an opening. At the same time, Trent Boult leads the bowling attack for MIE.
