After winning the toss, ADKR chose to bat first, but this decision proved unsuccessful. Colin Ingram and Paul Stirling opened the innings but could not last long against the UAE’s right-arm medium pacer, Sanchit Sharma.
Sharma took 3 wickets for 9 runs in the powerplay, making it difficult for the Knight Riders to score runs freely. Fellow pacer Richard Gleeson also contributed to limiting the Knight Riders’ score. David Wiese and Chris Jordan also played a part in this effort.

Vince stood out, scoring a brilliant 65 runs off 44 balls and leading his team to victory.
