ILT20 Unveils the Trophy for the Inaugural Season of the league 2023

United Arab Emirates will host the International League T20, starting on the 13th of January and the 12th of February 2023. The wait is over today His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan unveiled the trophy for the first edition of the ILT20 2023.

The UAE International League T20 inaugural edition Silver trophy depicts the versatile culture of the UAE. During the grand celebrations, here’s what Rahul Johri (President ZEE Entertainment) said, In the presence of all team owners and cricket legends, the unveiling of the UAE ILT20 2023 trophy by His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is a proud moment and a momentous milestone for Emirates Cricket Board in a journey with us.

The trophy symbolizes the league’s unparalleled ambition and scale. Zee is thrilled that ILT20 will be its vehicle for returning to sports broadcasting. On the linear television platform ZEE5, we look forward to entertaining millions of cricket fans across India and globally as they are the official broadcaster of the ILT20 2023.

The trophy of the Inaugural edition ILT20 has been designed by a famous trophy maker from England, Thomas Lyte. The trophy reflects the UAE’s national bird falcon, and the Burj Khalifa famous building. There’s also a 7-pointed crown that depicts the magnificent dunes of Tel Moreeb. The height of the trophy pays tribute to Majestic Burj Khalifa as its 830mm tall trophy. Overall, Thomas Lyte has done a fabulous job designing this trophy that pays a great tribute to heritage-rich Emirates culture.

Moreover, the opening ceremony of ILT20 will be at the Dubai Cricket Stadium. The tournament will start on 13th Jan, Friday 2023, where officials from all franchises will participate, along with many cricket legends. Six teams will fight in the league to mark their name on the Silver ILT20 Inaugural edition 2023.
