Emirate Cricket Board (ECB) has formally announced the schedule for International League T20 2023. As per the announcement, the first-ever edition of ILT20 will take place from January 13th to February 12th, 2023. Originally, the T20 Premier League of UAE was named UAE T20 League and planned to take place between January and February 2022. However, due to the time clash with other leagues, and the T20 Worldcup last year in the UAE, it was postponed to 2023.
International League T20 (ILT20) Schedule 2023 Announcement
Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed that the inaugural edition of the UAE T20 League would take place from January 13th to February 12th, 2023. In the same announcement, the League was formally named International League T20 (ILT20).
UAE Cricket fans have previously enjoyed Abu Dhabi T10 League and Abu Dhabi T20 League. However, both the Cricket Leagues were administrated by Abu Dhabi Cricket Board. It will be the first time when Emirates Cricket Board will host a T20 League.
The United Arab Emirates has hosted Pakistan Super League and Indian Premier League matches in the past. However, this time they will witness a T20 league of their own. Experts say that Money Flushed International T20 League in UAE will be jam-packed with cricket fans worldwide.
