The GMR Group team Dubai Capitals signed 14 overseas players, including Rovman Powell, Fabian Allen, Dasun Shanaka, and Sikandar Raza, for the International League T20 2023. In the addition, the other experienced players are Dushmantha Chameera and Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Hazratullah Zazai, and two Associate representatives are Scotland’s George Munsey and Netherlands’ Fred Klaassen.
Four domestic (UAE) players will be drafted in the near future, so a total of 18 players will represent the Dubai capital squad in the ILT20. The Westindies power hitter batsman Rovman Powell is the only current signee who is part of the Delhi Capitals, an IPL franchise owned by the GMR Group.

The other franchises like MI Emirates, Gulf Giants, and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders also announced their 14 players squad for the ILT20 tournament 2023. The six-franchise league has been sanctioned by the official UAE cricket board (Emirates Cricket Board) and will take place between January 6 and February 12 the next year 2023.
