Who Is R Sridhar, Director-Cricket, Sharjah Warriors, ILT20
Recently Sharjah Warriors official Twitter page released an update about their first appointment. They have selected Former Indian Fielding Coach Hyderabad spinner Ramakrishnan Sridhar as team director. In the past, he played a role as Kings 11 fielding coach and Andhra Cricket Team head coach.
Sridhar was born in Mysore and played for Hyderabad as a frontline spinner. From 1989/90 to 2000/01, he played 35 first-class and 15 List-A cricket matches for Hyderabad. He played for two spells overseas for Townville C.C. (England) in the mid-Yorkshire League (England). Twice mid a Yorkshire league winner.
Capri’s Global managing director Rajesh Sharma shared his views about the selection of Sharjah Warriors managing staff as he said, ” It’s a great opportunity as I am interacting with a lot more people, and there is a lot of learning in terms of dealing with the cricket operations, the appointment of coaches, support staff and other aspects.”
