The International League T20 tournament is set to make a huge debut. Huge names are signing contracts to become part of the league. Sharjah Warriors have selected its International and UAE local players and the squad consists of some of the most popular names like Evin Lewis, Dawid Malan, Mohammed Nabi, and Moeen Ali are some great players added to the international lineup.
The local UAE players “Karthik Meiyappan, Alishan Sharafu, Junaid Siddique, and Muhammad Jawadullah are added to the 18 members squad of Sharjah Warriors for International League T20 2023.
Capri Global is the owner of the Sharjah Warriors franchise in the UAE T20 League. The name was announced in August 2022, and along with the franchise name, they also announced their 14 overseas players for the upcoming league and now they added the four local UAE players to the squad.

Sharjah Warriors is looking up to be one of the best squads in the ILT20 tournament. It consists of Noor Ahmad, Mohammad Nabi, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz from Afghanistan. The team also selected players from England, including Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Chris Benjamin, and Dawid Malan.
According to the rules, all squads has local UAE players. Keeping that in mind, Sharjah Warriors selected Bilal Khan from Oman and JJ Smit from Namibia. “Our Afghanistan players like (Rahmanullah) Gurbaaz, Naveen (ul-Haq), and Noor (Ahmed) are extremely well versed in the UAE conditions, especially Sharjah. Add to the mix a few explosive finishers Chris Benjamin, Tom Cadmore, and a mystery spinner Mark Deyal. The two left-arm pacers JJ Smit and Bilal khan complete the lineup. We’re extremely happy,”
The Sharjah Warriors also appoints Moeen Ali as captain of the team for the first edition of the UAE International League 2023. The local UAE players are also excited to play under Moeen Ali captaincy and share the dressing room with all popular T20 game players.
