With the inaugural season of UAE’s international T20 league just a few months away, the praises from UAE outside the cricket field have already started. The Chairman of UAE Cricket, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, gifted bats made from gold to the owners of all six franchises participating in this inaugural highly anticipated cricket league 2023.

The franchises and their owners that received the prestigious gift include Paul Voigt (Desert Vipers), Kiran and Ruchir Grandhi (Dubai Capitals), Nikhil Meswani (Owner – MI Emirates), Rajesh Sharma (Sharjah Warriors), Pranav Adani (Gulf Giants) and Jay Mehta (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders).

The Souvenir Golden Bat Gifted to ILT20 Teams Owners

The press release reports that the gifts were handed over after revealing the first look at the Trophy of International League T20 2023. The golden bats were given to the franchise owners as a souvenir, and they have colors of the UAE flag woven into the grip with the logo of ILT20 imposed.

The event occurred during a private lunch organized by the board of UAE’s Cricket Board. Worldwide famous crickets, including Wasim Akram, Brett Lee, Dawayne Bravo, Robin Uthappa, and Simon Doull, attended this meetup and provided entertainment through a chat show.
